Remember my Monday post about the dragon fruit? Well, in an effort to find something to do with my dragon fruit, I did some research and found that dragon fruit is really great in smoothies. The dragon fruit has a very mild flavor, so it's best to pair that flavor with other citrusy, warm weather fruits.
Here's what you need (serves 2):
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup kefir
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 dragon fruit, pulp removed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- handful of spinach or baby kale
What you do:
- Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend to combine. You should let the blender run for a minute or two, depending on the power of your blender, just to make sure everything is melded together.
